Broke up Today

Let’s go back with music time machine. Here, three years ago, a sad love song from Younha was released. I wasn’t really familiar with kpop mvs that time, this maybe the first sad love mvs I saw from a solo kpop artist.

I like the song after the mv, it’s like a mini korean drama. The relationship between the three, is somehow sad, well, maybe just for the girl’s best friend.

I made something out of the mv with my mediocre drawing skills. I gave it away actually, but I scanned the pictures for the sake of my memory. (:

Seeing these pictures bring so much memories of my high school years, the time when drawing was my way to deal with stress from school stuffs. I drew everywhere, every time, and this MV became one of my inspiration to draw that time. I was touched and maybe like it so much, that I wanted to make my own version of the creation. (:

I AM impressed

I finally watched I AM last week after a quiet struggling process on buying the tickets online, lol. Together with my sisters who have recent interest on kpop, we witnessed most of SMTOWN members on and off stages all in the packaged of movie named I AM.

I AM movie poster

The movie itself has made quiet a buzz before it’s released in Indonesia. It’s not only because this is SMTOWN members we are talking about whose appeared in it, but also the screening were only for three days, with pretty higher price than the usual movie ticket.

We decided to watch at Grand Indonesia. The studio was opened a little late which made a long line outside the studio, seemed like I wasn’t the only people who’s excited that night. I was really eager to watch this movie, after waiting for a month, I could finally see my lovely boys, SHINee and the rest of smtown members that I followed (I really am an SMtown stan, lol).

The hype was huge; it gave the vibe as in a concert, though it’s not all about on stage performance, which makes the movie even more interesting. The members who starred in I AM were Kangta (ex H.O.T), BoA, DBSK HoMin, Super Junior (excluded Hangeng, Kibum, Kangin and Heechul), Girls’ Generation, SHINee, F(x), and even EXO.

It began with SNSD’s Genie performance on SMTOWN concert in Madison Square NYC. It was really cool, as this was my first ever experience watching live stage performance on such a big screen and sound, but they’re also stunning like mad. People started screaming already (I could hear fan boys, lol). The whole movie contained many video footages from their auditions to their debut days, and to how they are now, performing on smtown concert in NYC, included the back stages. It was heartwarming yet funny to see all those smtown kids used to be. They were much younger and in a total opposite with they are now. Through all those footages we could really see how hard they’ve been working to be the world stars everybody loves, even in America, a place where they could only dream of being on the stage before but now even people on America’s street couldn’t help to not ask for their photos and autographs.

It was amazing to be able to see their journey to glory, which was definitely not easy. Passing the audition was only the beginning, it took years to finally make debut as kpop stars, and it’s not even a certain decision. They still have to wait and hope they could be the next artist to debut among tons of trainee in the academy. They’ve got to keep going, to survive and win against all other debutant artists, whether it’s junior or senior. Being a kpop star is a total suicide, I may say harshly. Dream is the only thing that can make them keep going, because they have to sacrifice their youth (as in doing what other teenagers or even kids usually do, like attend graduation ceremony or even hanging out) to be idols. They may have the least time to spend with family in such young age, with friends, or even with themselves.

It was crazily good. I AM has the glitz, the joy, the struggle, the hardworking, the tears, the proud. All in one movie. It’s, I guess, beyond my expectation. I was enjoying every moment of watching that movie while hoping that it wouldn’t have to end so soon.

I can totally relate on the part of dreaming. Should not stop before you succeed and get what you dreamed of so long, or, if you think your dream isn’t worth your while anymore, change it, find another dream to achieve. Just don’t stop dreaming, for that is the only thing that will keep you alive. Living your dream simply means that you are becoming somebody, the I AM that you wanna be, that you are destined to be.

So, be that I AM! 🙂

In every fans’ mind, there’s a tiny little hope that they will end up with their idol. Even tough we know it’s impossible.

That’s why we daydream, read, and or create fanfics. It’s just fun to play with that tiny hope. Imagination.

So, when we know our idol is no longer single, it kills the possibility. It feels no fun to daydream about someone else’s lover.

It feels sad, but it will be more sad if my idol never got chance to be happy with someone they love for the rest of their life.

Because, after all, idols are human too, it’s not fair, if they can’t be happy while we do. So let them be. 🙂

ps: it’s written  to Jjongie’s breaking news with sekyung. :3 sooo late haha

9 hours journey with Ana <3

I’m happy with the words ‘first time’ because it feels fun and new!

So last week, I had my first time journey to UI, Depok with one of my besties, Ana ❤ Correction, my first time journey by Bus! I used to go there with either car or train, so we went to Balairung UI for “Korean Culture Day”. Thankfully we didn’t get lost :)).

We arrived there at 10.30 am, it took about 2 hours on the way. I met my friend, Jelita<3 for the tickets, and then we entered the building. The seats was all full, while there’s a Taekwondo performance on the stage (it’s cool). We walked around, and watched the performance for a while from the back. It’s almost lunch time, I supposed, since my tummy kept roaring, so we went outside for the foods :9

There’s a bazaar with some stands, and from about 2 metres away, I could hear the melody of Hello by SHINee! sorry, but food could wait, so we went closer to see what’s on the stand. Lots of SHINee merchandise and other groups’, like Super Junior. (well mostly these 2 groups). And we bought pins xD. From the first stand, we moved over to all the stands in there. It was sooo crowded, it took times until we reached the table, loooots of kpop merchandiseeee. Too many good things which made us confused what to buy, and ended up buying nothing, lol.

The banner-the stands-Messages board

So, finally we went to the food stalls. Korean foods were our targets! Kimbab, Tokpokki, and other foods. But unfortunately it all had sold out!! so we ate Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki instead T__T (lol Japanese foods). It’s delicious, but we had to struggle eating it (too many flour?) Teh Poci saved our lives :3. Anyway I finished it faster than Ana. \^^/  After calmed down our tummies, we went to the cloth stand to buy a lovely cat’s jacket which Ana had fallen at the first sight. She finally bought it after some influences she got from me >:D  It’s cute and cheaper than it should be, so it’d be ashamed if we didn’t buy it, right? (she blamed me all the way, but she’s happy after all, so I didn’t care, lol)

The show on the stage was on break time, so we walking around the bazaar, took lots of photos with Donghae and Ryeowook! and also with SHINee. Well.. it’s only the banners -.- but we’re still happy. We didn’t forget to put our marks on the message board. It’s full already, so we only had a very tiny spot to wrote on it.  Then we took a break, pray first~ then bought more pins for some friends :3 and actually I wanted to buy a fan, but it’s sold out. Best stuffs had sold out already. People were fast T^T. Lesson for next time ;). Another thing before we entered the building; we sign up for the Hanbok wearing stand, so we could pose with Hanbok (Korean traditional cloth) with Rp.10.000. It’s my long-time dreaaam omg ;___;  Because it took pretty long time until our turns, so we decided to wait it while watching the show.

can you spot the Jacket? ^^

Finally the show started, we sit on the floor with the other people, on the right side of the stage. It’s pretty far, and my camera had a broken zoom in function, so no good photos quality, sorry u__u. Two mcs began the show, with the slogan “KCD… Daebakiya!!” (which means big hit) after some chit-chats, wonder girls wannabe performed “2 different tears” and “Nobody” on the stage. The outfits really was similar to ‘2 different tears’ they’re awesome, they said they were chosen right by the wonder girls itself, when WG came to Indonesia last time, don’t you think it’s great? 😀

After the opening performance, came on the stage, a singer, Ari with a guitarist, he sang 4men‘s song (I guess). It’s good! his voice was nice to me. well, no wonder he’s the winner of some competitions. Despite the technical error which made the acapella string from the guitar couldn’t be heard, it’s a good performance. The song still remained in my mind til now (:. And Then he performed a duet with female singer, Ninis, she’s also the winner of lots competition. I have to admit, her voice was amaaaazing!! powerful, and their duet was beautiful, once again I have no idea what was the song. Was it just me, or they really didn’t tell the audience about the song title? -,-.

We had got the dancing and singing performance, so now it’s time for the audience to showed off their skills. I guess about 10 people came to the stage, and it’s all girls (girl power ftw >:)) they’re told to dance to any music video that had shown on the screen before.  Before that, I have to tell you,  kpoppers is used to memorize the dances of kpop songs, there’s even a dance version of the mv by the artist itself. So no need to be surprised of their dance skills (well, it’s still amazing). First to show was SNSD Gee, it’s a cute perf, really gee! And the next was SHINee Lucifer!!! Awesomee, we screamed like mad!! I don’t really remember the others, but 2 others that impressed me were, 4minute Huh and SNSD Hoot.

The show’s going with singing performance again, it’s 8Eight‘s song, with the exact same formation as 8Eight. Real talent we saw here :3 Once again technical problems got in the way, the MCs had to took over the situation, but we took the time for photooos xDD. The last show we got was NES, they performed Shock and Breathe by Beast. Another awesome performance!! with all read outfits and diff designs, they looked like real boyband. I couldn’t see their faces so, I could imagine them being one of the kpop group, but not until they mentioned their names, lol.

The pins and that's Chilsung Cider!

Before we finally get going from the show, there’s a Korean traditional music performed, Salmunori. I guess it’s real Korean who performed that. But we didn’t watch it til the end, because we suddenly remembered of our reservation of Hanbok wearing!! And right, it’s closed already!! TT____TT all I could see was the staffs wore it together and took photos with their private camera. it’s so close, but I couldn’t wear it, well maybe next time :’).

Salmunori and Hanbok (it's me who wanted it badly, lol)

It’s time to go home, we went earlier than it should be, because we didn’t wanna take the risk on being home late, since it’s far. Before it, we prayed and took lot more photos xD and we went home safely with lots of experience and story to share!

PS: Tell me if there’s another Korean or Japanese Festival! or any other interesting festival ^^ I’d love to come! Oh btw, we bought Korean soft drink while watching the show. the seller said it was a drink on ‘My girlfriend’s a gumiho’ it’s named “Chilsung Cider” tastes like sprite, with a more soda :9

SHINee’s albums

  • First Mini Album “REPLAY”
  • First Album “THE SHINee WORLD”
  • First Repeckage Album “A.MI.GO”
  • Second Mini Album “ROMEO”
  • Third Mini Album “2009, YEAR OF US”
  • Second Album “LUCIFER”
  • Second Repeckage Album “HELLO”

It’s been two years, since their debut. Officially a fan for almost a year now :3 yet I dont have all their albums. I wasn’t intend to buy it, when the first time I like them, not even bother to know how to purchase their songs, appreciate them more, and be a true fan. But now, the more I think about it, the more I realize, this is the time for me to do what’s right, at least for them. In a way, by buying their albums legally. :>

I will, one by one. Not for LUCIFER, because I’ve had it for free (thx to KBSworld ❤ <3) which means saving moneeeeeeeeeey xDD

Mostly Bread

As promised. This is the drama review of  BREAD, LOVE, AND DREAMS.
It’s one of my favourite drama this year. >>>>>

Baker King, Kim Takgu

“A Hope is a dream that doesn’t sleep” judulnya, biasanya muncul waktu adegan sedih diputar, jadi siap2 aja nangis dan fangirl-ing dalam hati secara bersamaan (?).

Ah sudahlah, mari kita sudahi ulasan dramanya sampai disini. Sekian, dan ayo saksikan terlahirnya Baker King lewat drama ini! ^^

This is what we call sharing.

My first time attending a concert. ^^

I thought I would be standing all along the show, just like any other concert that I usually saw on TV. But we’re not, we’re only standing when the main performance, I mean the main reason why we’re there, came out. Nobody couldn’t stop anybody there. Mostly people ended up standing on their chairs, included me.

5 hours before…

The concert was held at Tenis Indoor Senayan. I arrived there at 3pm, actually the show started at 6.30pm but there’s a lot of people already. So I was waiting outside the hall, with the other premium seater for 2 hours. The staffs were so busy yelling and telling us what to do, like made lines, or don’t do that don’t do this. Sometimes I felt like we’re on the orientation period, lol. Anyway there were some TV station who recorded us, such as Trans TV, TVRI, Arirang and KBSworld. I didn’t see, when Jonathan Mulya from Insert, asking people who’s in lines about what they felt. I could only hear screams.  I should’ve prepared myself for the situation there, concert means screaming. The first scream I heard that day were coming when, SHINee‘s bus passed over to the concert hall. I couldn’t even say a word. It really was new experience for me xD

ngantri sembako lho. percaya deh

Finally we could come in at 5pm. We got the glow stick for free, mine was yellow, my favourite one ^^ The concert hall was full AC, and pretty big. I didn’t expect it would be like that at all. All I was thinking were, it’d be hot and dark and tiring. I was so happy knowing its all the other way around.  My seat was about 4 or 5 metres away from the stage, so it’s pretty close yet still kinda far for taking nice pictures. When we first came in, Mirotic MV was being played on the screen, and as we’re all kpoppers, we’re screaming together, after that Lucifer followed, we’re even doing the fan chants!.  Some mvs were being played until the show finally started (and we’ve already spent our voice to that, lol).

In the hall.

The show started with Traditional Korean Music ‘Sinawe’ at exactly 6.30pm.  It’s nice, but what made us screamed was when this group performed ‘Bengawan Solo’ The male singer, sang on high notes, so it was kinda amazing for man. He reached the highest note at the end, and we’re screaming even louder for them. Yeah, we appreciated them so well.

After first performance, The MCs of the show (that I’ve been waiting for) came out together. From Korea; Adrien Lee (he’s the mc of Showbiz Extra on Arirang) was wearing Batik, and from Indonesia; Nadya, and she was wearing Hanbok. Sharing clothes, right? xD  Girls, I mean most of the audience, screamed for Adrien. And yes, he’s indeed handsome.  They were using english, and they’re pretty well-blended with each other :).

The MCs

The second performance was from Indonesia ‘Padepokan traditional dance group’ or we could say, Bali dance. It was beautiful. Then Some Korean kids brought Saman to the stage! So they were Koreans who lived in Indonesia, I guess. The dance was kinda different without unique sounds that we usually hear on Saman, but it’s cute. The last was from Korean kids choir, they sang Janggeum onara,  while the Jewel on the palace drama was being played on the screen. Our excitement metre were so so high, so we kept on screaming on anybody who showed up on stage. I mean it.

Now it’s time for artists from each country to performed. Gita Gutawa showed us her popular Parasit and Aku Cinta dia‘s songs with cute purple dress. We’re singing together with her, and never forgot to screamed.  Then Naomi came out to sang a duet Wish upon a star with Gita, they’re both great!. Naomi got time to sang solo as well, and she ‘s got such a powerful voice (:.

After female artists, now the men came out. It’s  Son Ho Young (the ex-member of G.O.D) His performance was soo full of energy, he heated up the concert.  He asked us to stand up and jumped together. He even walked out to the audience, and was standing on a chair, among the crowd! 0_o. I imagine if it were SHINee who did that, they must’ve been a dead meat, lol. There’s still one male performer, he was DJ Gu Jun Yeop. All I can remember is he was wearing a pink suit!

People started feeling nervous, because it’s one more performance till SHINee came out. The Dance Company, our Indonesian band, sang two songs, and rocking the stage with their music. We sang along with Papa ga pulang. But At this moment, I felt kinda annoyed by people who’re supposed to be sitting, was standing beside me, and covered the other people’s sight, just because they thougt they saw SHINee beside the stage! 😡 It’s pretty unrespected the dance company who’s performing at that time.

Finally the time for SHINee had come. People felt sooo enthusiastic, and just couldn’t stop screaming. And just like I’ve said, they’re no longer on they’re seats. All people was already standing. Actually I wanted to obey the rules (for kept sitting and stay calmed) but if I did, I wouldn’t be able to see them at all. So I was standing along SHINee‘s performance. And tried to stay calmed (which was failed) while recording the shows. It was kinda hard, and as I see on the videos, it’s shaking all the time. I am such a failure, lol.

the only pic that's pretty clear T_T

First they performed Ring Ding Dong. (Screams metre was on the maximum point) I had to hold my camera up high in the air to recorded it. Then it’s getting crowded, so I had to tiptoed when they performed Lucifer (My hands and feet were shaking because of it) and I ended up standing on someone’s chair (my chair had been used by other person T_T) when they performed Hello, which was the last performance they had that night.

We just couldn’t get enough, even after they had finished, and said Thank you, goodbye and Key said ‘Selamat Tinggal” and “we love you Indonesia” xD But we couldn’t do anything, they must’ve been exhausted for they had such a hectic schedule which made them had to fly to Seoul right away.  So I went straight home, after I bought a drink (my voice a bit worn out, and we couldn’t bring foods or drinks there, mean T_T)  Thankfully the rain poured down when I was on my way back home. xD

kenang-kenangannya :')

PS: I just wanna share my experience on The Korea-Indonesia Sharing Concert, which was held on october 12 2010. Sorry for the loooong report, keke. I dont wanna tell any other infos about what happened to SHINee and so on as the rumours keep spreading around.  Ah! I forgot to mention, there were some Koreans as well on the concert :3 (happy to heard them talking Korean xD)

This is a sharing concert between Korea and Indonesia, so I hope we will have a better relationship and can sharing more than this.  I really enjoyed the show even it was just last for about two hours, I had so much fun already. I wish this show could be much better next time, from every aspects.    See ya! ;D thanks for reading anyway :*
